There are over 6.5 million people in the UK acting as carers.

Becoming a carer can be a gradual process and for others it may happen over night. However often someone cares for another person it's important that it's recognised and every person has access to support when needed.

From time to time this will become too much and may have an impact on both your mental and physical health.

What we can do to help you

Taking time for yourself to get support when needed is crucial. This support can take shape in many forms.

It could be receiving 1:2:1 support from a wellbeing practitioner or attending a peer support group where you can share your experiences with others and hear other peoples experiences and challenges. Or it could be taking time to attend a Carers Coffee Morning where you can spend time with people in a similar situation but where the focus isn’t just on you being a Carer, where it is about having fun and enjoying a change of scenery.

We can work with you to understand your needs and find what will best support you.
