We all have mental health and need to take care of it. It's no different for children and young people.

Lots of children experience low mood and anxiety, low self esteem or lack of confidence amongst issues and we need to help them to understand why they’re feeling this way, and how they can manage their emotions.

Who is this service for?

We work with children from aged ten and can offer 1-2-1 or group support.

To access our support the child or young person must be

  • aged 10-16
  • living in Redcar and Cleveland

What we can do to help you

Our support is varied depending upon the needs of the child or young person but can include:

  • Group and 1-1 Support
  • Lego-based Play Therapy
  • Friendship and Resilience Sessions
  • Support with School Transitions
  • Mental Health Psycho-Education
  • Mindfulness and Relaxation
  • Art Based Therapy and Exploration

How do we deliver this service?

Working with our partner, A Time 4 You Psychological Services, the project is funded by The Woodsmith Foundation and we offer safe spaces for those in need.

We currently run sessions in Redcar, Danby and Skelton.
