Let's Talk About It
Thursday 10th October 2025 is World Mental Health Day.
Are you ready to make mental health the topic of conversation in your workplace?
Mental health issues cost employers £34.9 billion last year, so it’s more important than ever to act.
Did you know that 57% of all working days lost are mental health related? Or that 51% of all long-term sick leave is due to stress, anxiety or depression? The impact this has on productivity and the bottom line for businesses in Teesside is worrying.
Workplaces that understand the benefits of investing in and nurturing good mental health, experience less absenteeism, better staff retention, increased outputs and a more present workforce.
What are we doing?
To celebrate World Mental Health Day, we want to work with as many local businesses and organisations as possible to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health at work.
We want to get people talking, especially at work. Knowing how to check in with someone or ask how they are, or to spot the signs if a colleague is struggling, can make a huge difference.
Our Let’s Talk About It campaign is designed to get you thinking about mental health, the positive impact it can have on your workforce, and to encourage you to support our work by fundraising for us.
